Engineer Senior Software Engineer I - Platform Enablement at Wrapbook

Senior backend engineer owns cross-cutting platform systems including approval workflows, permissions, authentication, and notifications, building scalable infrastructure in Ruby on Rails.

Senior Remote Posted about 3 hours ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

About Us:

Wrapbook is the AI platform for production finance. We’re building a system of action that puts finance teams in control of their whole production, from payroll, to spend, to accounting.

Built for feature films, TV, and commercials, Wrapbook is trusted by teams at Netflix, Paramount, Anonymous Content, and more. With backing from Andreessen Horowitz, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Jeffrey Katzenberg’s WndrCo, our team of 350+ is using AI to transform how finance teams work and empower them to do more with less.

The Opportunity - Senior Software Engineer I, Platform Enablement (Remote - CANADA)

Wrapbook is looking for a Senior Software Engineer I to join PANDA, our platform and technical enablement team. PANDA owns the cross-cutting systems every product team at Wrapbook relies on: the Approval Workflow Engine (AWE), permissions for customers and internal employees, authentication (Auth0/MFA), and notifications. This isn’t a feature team — it’s platform infrastructure with deep technical complexity and broad cross-team impact, and the systems you build will be relied on company-wide.

What you’ll do:

  • Own and evolve cross-cutting platform systems — approval workflows, permissions, authentication, and notifications — bringing strong architectural judgment to state management, data integrity, scalability, and backward compatibility for shared infrastructure

  • Collaborate with other engineers, product managers, and subject matter experts across the teams that consume PANDA’s services to provide elegant solutions to Wrapbook customer problems

  • Lead and decompose complex, ambiguous projects into actionable technical tasks, including migration paths that don’t break dependent teams

  • Write performant, scalable, and secure backend code in Ruby on Rails

  • Design and optimize data models and SQL queries (PostgreSQL)

  • Participate in code reviews — including reviewing changes from other teams that touch PANDA-owned systems — mentor and learn from fellow engineers, and help raise the technical bar

  • Actively improve our tools, processes, and best practices

  • Participate in an on-call rotation, responding to production issues and partnering with the team to resolve them quickly

What you’ll have:

  • You’re a full-stack engineer with a strong technical background building production web applications and APIs, ideally in Ruby on Rails

  • Strong architectural insight — you reason about tradeoffs and select the right abstractions when working in shared, cross-team systems, and understand the risks of changing shared infrastructure that many teams depend on

  • High ownership mentality — self-directed and solution-oriented, comfortable driving ambiguous work forward with only light-touch review

  • Experience on a platform, infrastructure, or enablement team — you’ve built systems that other teams consume, not just end-user-facing features, and you’re comfortable balancing “ship our roadmap” with “unblock everyone else.” Bonus points if that experience includes approval workflows, role-based access control (RBAC), or identity/auth products (Auth0, session management) in a multi-tenant SaaS product

  • A collaborative mindset — experience partnering across the product teams that consume shared platform services to align architecture with business goals

  • An AI-centric workflow — comfort using AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code) and beginning to build AI-enabled agents or MCP servers as part of your engineering toolkit

  • Excellent communication skills that let you land ideas clearly with your team and cross-functional partners

  • Comfortable working in two-week cycles with Agile/Scrum-style planning

  • You understand how to write, analyze, and optimize SQL queries (PostgreSQL is a plus)

  • You are customer-focused and like to pay attention to detail and value quality

Our Tech Stack:

  • Full stack Ruby on Rails (Frontend & Backend)

  • StimulusJS

  • Redis

  • Sidekiq

  • PostgreSQL

  • Kubernetes

Why Join Us:

At Wrapbook, creativity meets technology — and not just in the product.

In addition to a competitive salary and all the benefits you can expect from a fast-growing technology company, you’ll get access to a team of creative problem solvers and the chance to see your contributions make large impacts Benefits include:

  • Unlimited Paid Time Off

  • Work from anywhere in Canada and USA

  • Up to $1,500 USD/ $2,025 CAD towards IT set up for your home

  • Up to 2% matching RRSP / 401K

  • Learning and Development opportunities

  • Up to $50 USD/ $67.50 CAD towards Internet/Cell phone service

Here, you’ll work and grow among the best hearts and the best minds in tech, data, and business alongside our network of independent partners, NGOs, and law enforcement agencies. About the Role

Our Victim Identification team builds and owns tools that empower global law enforcement partners to combat child sexual abuse. • Play a critical role in day-to-day coding, thorough code reviews, and troubleshooting production issues, including participating in on-call rotations to support system reliability and incident response.

  • Strengthen your team by sharing expertise, offering thoughtful feedback, mentoring teammates within your domain, and stepping in to help when needed.
  • Contribute to improving team practices and documentation, supporting a culture of learning and continuous improvement.

What We’re Looking For

  • You have a commitment to putting the children we serve at the center of everything you do.
  • You have experience building and maintaining production-ready software systems.

  • Experience using backend languages and frameworks to build services and APIs
  • Values quality and best-in-class user experience
  • Passionate about leveraging AI and eager to learn new skills
  • Skilled communicator, comfortable articulating complex ideas, driving technical discussions, and influencing decisions across teams
  • Openness to growth: while deep technical expertise is the priority, we value engineers who are open to the full spectrum of their long-term career path

Bonus Points:

  • Familiar with Google Cloud and Kubernetes
  • Familiarity with accessibility best practices and WCAG Level AA
  • Experience with NodeJs, Django, Go
  • Experience with one or more of e-commerce products, high traffic SaaS products

Engineer Senior Data Engineer at Jump

Senior Data Engineer builds and maintains ELT pipelines, dbt models, and data infrastructure on Snowflake to support analytics and product across Jump's sports platform.

Senior Remote Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

The Company

Jump is transforming the live sports experience with the only end-to-end fan engagement platform built specifically for sports teams and venues. By focusing on aligned incentives between teams and fans, our platform unifies ticketing, merchandise, and game day operations - creating a smoother, more fan-friendly experience. Jump was founded by e-commerce innovator Marc Lore, MLB legend Alex Rodriguez, and entrepreneur Jordy Leiser. We’re backed by top investors including Alexis Ohanian’s Seven Seven Six and Forerunner Ventures.

Our platform powers teams across the NBA, WNBA, and NWSL among other leagues, helping them boost ticket sales and deliver innovative fan experiences. We’re a remote-first team driven by core values - begin and build with trust, play like the underdog, win as a team, and do your thing. If you’re collaborative, adaptable, and eager to shape the future of live sports, Jump is the place for you.

The Role

Jump is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join our nimble Data team, where you’ll help build and evolve the data platform that powers the company. You’ll own the reliability and performance of our Snowflake and dbt-powered stack, building the pipelines and models that make data trustworthy and usable across Jump - from internal dashboards to client-facing products. As we create and iterate on agentic functionality across our product, you’ll help shape how Jump builds on and leverages its data foundation. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role spanning data platform, analytics engineering, and data infrastructure. You’ll work across the stack, solving problems end-to-end while helping shape the architecture and data practices that will support Jump as we scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Build and maintain ELT pipelines that turn raw data into modular, well-tested dbt models inside Snowflake

  • Design and maintain reliable data orchestration and workflows as the platform grows in complexity

  • Write and maintain dbt tests that catch issues before they reach a critical point

  • Document models and sources so the meaning of our data is discoverable

  • Build monitoring and alerting that surfaces pipeline failures and data anomalies before anyone has to ask

  • Optimize Snowflake table design and materialization strategy to keep performance high and costs in check as data volume grows

  • Help evolve Snowflake access controls and governance, keeping roles, grants, and security aligned with organizational standards

  • Dig into what internal teams and external clients actually need from our data, not just what they ask for

  • Bring a strong engineering discipline to data work; version control, CI/CD, code review

  • Build the data infrastructure and governance needed to support new AI/ML use cases, including reliable access to high-quality, well-understood data

What We’re Looking For

  • 6+ years of data engineering experience

  • Ability to independently own complex data systems from design through production and make sound architectural tradeoffs

  • Strong product and stakeholder instincts - you can translate ambiguous business needs into durable data solutions

  • Deep, production-grade SQL and Snowflake expertise

  • Deep experience with dbt, including testing, documentation, dependencies, and deployment

  • Software engineering discipline — Git-based version control, CI/CD for data pipelines, and strong Python skills for building data pipelines, orchestration, and custom transformations

  • A track record of building testing, monitoring, and alerting into pipelines before something breaks, not after

Nice to Haves

  • Familiarity with BI/analytics tools, ideally Sigma

  • Experience with orchestration and workflow tooling

  • Depth with cloud platforms

  • Exposure to supporting ML/AI pipelines or streaming and real-time data

Attributes that will make you successful on our team

  • A strong desire to learn. You are curious and willing to dive deep to become a subject matter expert in our domain

  • Tenacity. You enjoy working on challenges that others can’t or don’t want to tackle and you aren’t afraid of failing fast in order to find better solutions.

  • Passion. You love using your skills to solve real problems. You hold yourself to a high standard and help to elevate others as well.

  • Empathy. You thrive in an environment where everyone can truly be themselves. You understand that our differing life experiences influence who we are and how we show up, and these diverse perspectives enrich both our team and our product.

  • Customer-centric mindset. You put customers at the heart of everything they do, striving to understand their needs and exceed their expectations

  • Innovation: Passion for exploring and implementing AI technologies to enhance automation, optimize workflows, and drive innovation

Benefits

  • Remote first

  • Competitive salary and equity

  • Flex PTO policy

  • 401(k)

  • Generous medical, dental and vision plans

  • 16 weeks paid parental leave for primary and secondary caregivers

  • $1,000 reimbursement for work-from-home tech setup

  • $1,000 reimbursement for learning and development

  • Company-paid sustainability subscription to ensure carbon neutrality is maintained for employee activities, such as travel

Compensation

Compensation is something we don’t want our candidates or employees to worry about. Our goal is to offer competitive salaries that are regularly benchmarked against the market. The core tenants of our compensation philosophy are fairness and transparency. We have established a standardized leveling framework based on job scope and responsibilities. This means that every person at a certain level is paid the same as everyone else, regardless of their background, previous compensation, location, or any other factor. The compensation for this role is $190,000-$210,000 and includes a generous equity package.

Application

Some candidates may see the requirements and feel unsure that they match all the criteria. We encourage you to apply! There’s a good chance you have important skills that we have not stated. We especially encourage members of traditionally underrepresented communities to apply, including women, nonbinary folx, people of color, members of the LGBTQ community, veterans, and people with disabilities. We’re committed to building an inclusive workplace where everyone can bring their authentic self and thrive, and we value the diversity brought by different life experiences.

These state-of-the-art platforms are powered by proprietary in-house technology, a key component of PENN’s omnichannel gaming and entertainment strategy.

When you join PENN Entertainment’s digital team, you’ll not only work on these cutting-edge platforms through theScore and PENN Interactive, but you’ll also be part of a company that truly cares about your career growth. We’re committed to supporting you as you expand your skills and explore new opportunities.

With locations throughout North America, you can build a future at PENN Entertainment wherever you are. If you want to challenge conventions in gaming, media and entertainment, we want to talk to you.

About the Role & Team The SRE team at PENN Entertainment is looking for a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to help build and operate the infrastructure behind a large-scale sports betting and media platform. You’ll own critical infrastructure across compute, networking, storage, and cloud services (GCP/AWS) — driving complex migrations, building  platform tooling and automation (ArgoCD, Helm, GitHub Actions), and improving observability and incident response across hundreds of production services spanning multiple regulated jurisdictions. We’re looking for someone with strong Kubernetes and distributed systems experience, proficiency in Go, Python, or Bash, and a track record of leading cross-team infrastructure projects with high autonomy. You’ll solve ambiguous problems, reduce operational toil through automation, mentor teammates, and bring a production-first perspective to architecture decisions — all on a team that values pragmatic engineering, real ownership, and continuous improvement of how we work.

About the Work

  • Drive complex infrastructure migrations and projects — scoping, planning, execution, and validation across multiple production environments and jurisdictions
  • Build and maintain platform tooling and automation — ArgoCD, Helm, GitHub Actions, release pipelines, and service onboarding workflows that reduce toil for SRE and development teams
  • Support development teams — consult on infrastructure needs, unblock cross-team dependencies, review architecture proposals, and help teams adopt platform tooling and best practices
  • Design and improve observability and alerting — Datadog monitors, dashboards, and runbooks that surface meaningful signals and make systems operable by the whole team
  • Provide operational support and incident response — investigate and resolve production issues through structured debugging and root cause analysis, and contribute to on-call rotations to maintain platform reliability

About You

  • 5+ Years of Experience in a similar role (DevOps, Site Relatability Engineer)
  • Strong experience operating and troubleshooting Kubernetes in a production Linux environment (cluster lifecycle, networking, storage, scheduling)
  • Experience working with AWS, GCP, and/or on-premise environments
  • Proficiency in at least two of: Go, Python, Bash/Shell — for building tooling, automation, and debugging production systems
  • Deep understanding of distributed systems — failure modes, networking fundamentals, capacity planning, and performance analysis
  • Experience with GitOps and CI/CD workflows (ArgoCD, Helm, GitHub Actions, or similar)
  • Experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Helm, or equivalent)
  • Track record of leading complex migrations or infrastructure projects with cross-team dependencies
  • Strong incident response and troubleshooting skills — structured debugging across multiple services and infrastructure layers
  • Clear technical communication — you write docs others can use, explain trade-offs to varied audiences, and proactively unblock cross-team dependencies

Nice to have

  • Experience with service mesh technologies (Istio, Cilium)
  • Familiarity with distributed storage systems (Ceph, or similar)
  • Experience with bare-metal Kubernetes or Talos OS
  • Exposure to regulated environments (sports betting, fintech, or similar compliance-heavy domains)
  • Experience with Datadog or comparable observability platforms at scale
  • Familiarity with database operations — PostgreSQL, connection pooling (PgBouncer), or database migration tooling

What We Offer

  • Competitive compensation package.
  • Comprehensive Benefits package.
  • Fun, relaxed work environment.
  • Education and conference reimbursements.

Engineer Product Engineer, Internal Tools - LATAM (Remote) at Luxury Presence

Senior full-stack engineer builds and scales internal tools for operational teams using AI-assisted development workflows across React, NestJS, and data integrations.

Senior Remote Posted 1 day ago RemoteFirstJobs Product
What this role involves

Luxury Presence is building the AI growth platform for real estate. Backed by Bessemer Venture Partners and other top investors, we’re a Series C company that has hit $100M in annual recurring revenue. More than 90,000 real estate professionals, including over 30% of the WSJ Real Trends top 100 agents in the United States, use us to run and grow their business.

The Opportunity

We don’t just use AI. We build with it, ship with it, and think with it. With a generous budget for tokens, our engineers use AI agents to write, review, and ship production code every day. We are building toward a world where humans design systems and AI builds them, and we are already far along that path.

We are looking for a hungry, highly autonomous Staff or Senior level Product Engineer to help and scale our internal tools. The Internal Tools team is the operational engine of Luxury Presence. Your customers are our own people: Customer Success, Sales, Onboarding, and fellow engineering teams. If an internal team needs a tool to move faster, automate a bottleneck, or serve our clients better, you will build it or support the architecture to make it happen.

This role requires a true “10x engineer” who leverages AI development workflows (like Claude Code and Orca) to ship high-quality code at an unprecedented pace. You will be touching everything from complex UI dashboards in React to background job processing in NestJS, and deeply integrating it with our core data ecosystem.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead internal product development. Partner with teams across Customer Success, Sales, Onboarding, and Engineering to uncover operational bottlenecks and design intuitive, high-leverage tools that multiply their effectiveness.
  • Own the internal tool ecosystem. Architect and scale our internal platform (Scout) across the full stack. You’ll weave together our React frontends, NestJS backends, and complex data integrations (spanning our CRM, data warehouse, and communication platforms) into a unified, reliable experience.
  • Accelerate delivery through AI. Integrate AI natively into your daily workflow. You will use agents to write, review, and ship production code, turning complex requirements into working software at an elite pace.
  • Turn ambiguity into impact. Take ownership of open-ended business challenges. You will act as both product manager and lead engineer for internal tools—scoping the true need, designing the solution, and shipping it end-to-end.

What We’re Looking For

Attributes:

  • You are an AI-native developer. You have deep experience with AI development workflows and tools (Claude Code, Cursor). You understand how to prompt, iterate, and use AI to output 10x the impact of a traditional engineer.
  • You get joy from helping others. You are deeply empathetic to your internal users. You measure your success by the time you save others and the headaches you eliminate.
  • You are highly product-oriented. You care deeply about the how and why of software. You view your internal coworkers as your highest-priority customers, always asking if a feature actually solves their core problem before writing a line of code.
  • You are hungry and autonomous. You don’t wait for a perfectly scoped Jira ticket. You are a problem solver who digs into the business need, proposes a technical solution, and ships it.
  • You think in systems. You can reason about the whole request path from UI to data, understanding how internal tooling impacts the broader platform architecture.

Skills and Experience:

  • Extensive experience as a Senior or Staff-level full-stack engineer in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Deep expertise in TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
  • Experience building scalable backend services (NestJS preferred) and designing robust GraphQL APIs (code-first resolvers).
  • Strong database fundamentals using ORMs (Sequelize) over PostgreSQL, and experience writing integration tests against real databases.
  • Comfortable operating in a modern DevOps environment, relying on feature flags, rigorous testing, and solid observability.

Tech Stack

  • Frontend: React SPA (Vite), TypeScript, Tailwind, React Router, Apollo Client. Vitest + RTL for testing, Playwright for e2e.
  • Backend: Node.js, NestJS, TypeScript, GraphQL (code-first resolvers).
  • Data & Background: PostgreSQL (via Sequelize), Bull/Redis for background jobs. Deep integrations with Salesforce, Snowflake/Flurry, Dialpad, Zoom, Front, and Anthropic. Testing via Jest + Supertest.
  • Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes via ArgoCD, Flyway for migrations, LaunchDarkly for flags, Datadog for logs/APM/RUM.
