Leads quality engineering and test automation strategy for a digital payments security platform, balancing technical depth with cross-functional team leadership and release assurance.
Why Entersekt
Founded over 16 years ago, with more recent investments from Accel-KKR, Entersekt is a leader in digital banking fraud prevention and payment security, including mobile authentication, mobile app security, and 3D Secure authentication for issuers, acquirers and payment networks. We offer highly scalable products with a track record of success across multiple continents.
Entersekt enables secure digital transactions for leading financial institutions globally. We exist to create a world where everyone can transact digitally without fear or compromise. Currently, we protect the digital transactions of over 210 million active users on our platform and hold 120 active patents that recognize innovation in digital security, payments, and user experience. Entersekt offers customers secure authentication and digital payments experiences that remove unnecessary friction. Entersekt has a diverse product portfolio and aggressive roadmap that positions the company well to sustain competitive advantage as it expands globally with emphasis on North America and European markets.
Quality at Entersekt is a shared engineering responsibility, not a final test phase. Our Quality Engineering function provides the standards, automation and independent evidence needed to deliver confidently in a regulated environment.
The Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is a hands-on technical and people leader with deep expertise in software quality engineering and automation. They combine strong technical depth with the ability to influence teams that do not report directly to them, balancing engineering excellence, automation strategy, release assurance and quality leadership.
They are comfortable staying close to the code, pipelines and automation frameworks while leading engineers and providing clear quality guidance across cross-functional teams. They know how to make release risk explicit, hold a quality position under pressure, resolve issues directly with accountable peers and escalate appropriately when risks exceed agreed tolerances.
The successful candidate demonstrates strong judgement, the ability to assess risk objectively and the confidence to deliver difficult feedback constructively while maintaining strong working relationships.
The Role
The QE & Automation Lead is accountable for QE-owned assurance across Entersektâs 3DS portfolio, including the Access Control Server, associated integrations and scheme certification obligations, together with delegated areas of the shared automation framework.
This role leads the Quality Engineers assigned to the portfolio while remaining actively involved in technical execution and decision-making. The incumbent is responsible for ensuring automation effectiveness, quality visibility, release confidence and continuous improvement in testing practices across the product line.
A fundamental aspect of the role is influencing engineering teams, product teams and delivery stakeholders to continuously improve product quality while supporting the needs of a highly regulated and security critical environment.
Responsibilities
Automation and Engineering Leadership
Release Assurance and Quality Intelligence
People Leadership
Cross-Functional Leadership
Continuous Improvement
Skills and Experience

We are seeking an Enterprise Portfolio Manager (EPM), a client-facing, senior-level position, who will bring these same values and passion to help mission-driven organizations. This is a full-time, salaried role reporting to a Practice Director. Note: this is not a sales position, does not carry a revenue goal nor does it have a commission associated with it.
As an Enterprise Portfolio Manager (EPM), you will lead a portfolio of strategic clients. As EPM, you own multi-year strategy, cross-workstream sequencing, and portfolio-level outcomes, partnering closely with practice leadership on budget performance and resourcing decisions across your portfolio. This role does not involve direct people-management responsibility, though an EPM is considered Senior Staff. As such, an EPM is responsible for coaching and ensuring a productive work culture.
